1. What This Policy Covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Host360 uses cookies and similar technologies on www.host360.ai, our documentation portals and the Host360 Client Portal.
It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.
2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences across pages and return visits.
We also use related technologies that work the same way — local storage, session storage, pixels and tracking scripts. Wherever this Policy says "cookies," it covers all of these.
Cookies set by host360.ai are first-party. Cookies set by services we use, such as analytics or live chat, are third-party.
3. Why We Use Cookies
Cookies let us keep you signed in to the Client Portal, remember your language and region, maintain your live chat session, understand which pages and services visitors find useful, measure whether our campaigns work, and protect the site against fraud and abuse.
We do not use cookies to access files on your device or to read anything you store on Host360 infrastructure.
4. Categories of Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary. Authentication, session management, load balancing, security protections and storing your cookie preferences. These are required for the website and Client Portal to work and cannot be switched off.
Functional. Language and region preferences, live chat widget state, and remembering form entries so you don't retype them.
Analytics. Aggregate measurement of traffic, page performance, navigation paths and conversion funnels, so we can improve the site.
Marketing. Campaign attribution, retargeting and conversion measurement across advertising platforms.
Functional, analytics and marketing cookies are set only with your consent.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Zoho SalesIQ powers our website chat and chatbot. It uses cookies and local storage to maintain your chat session, recognise returning visitors and record the pages you view before and during a chat. See Zoho's privacy notice.
Google Analytics measures aggregate website traffic and performance.
Google Ads support campaign attribution and retargeting.
These providers act as our processors under data protection agreements. We do not permit them to use your data for their own independent purposes.
6. Managing Your Preferences
When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones, or configure each category individually. You can change your choices at any time.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals where technically supported.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Client Portal from functioning. Blocking functional cookies will disable live chat.
7. How Long Cookies Last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a set period — typically up to 12 months for functional cookies, up to 26 months for analytics, and shorter windows for most marketing cookies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We update this Policy when we add or remove cookies or change how we use them. The "Last Updated" date shows the most recent revision. Material changes are notified through the consent banner, which will ask you to review your choices again.
